Main Areas of Business Cooperation
The operation of the business assocition is focused on the so-called four substantive sections or pillars
High and green technologies
The focus of action and cooperation: Nanotechnologies, Hydrogen and fuel cells, Health solutions, Solar technologies and energy storage, Environmental technologies, IT solutions.
Transfer of knowledge and technologies
In the operation of the business club, the field of scientific cooperation and, consequently, the transfer of knowledge, deserves a special place. Also, a special position requires education or participation in these processes.
Industrial goods and other products
Currently, Slovenia mainly imports ore and aluminum and aluminum products from Norway, while it exports mostly machinery, electrical and hardware equipment, and mechanical devices.
Of course, this exchange structure needs to be preserved and upgraded, as well as focusing on products with a higher added value with associated services.
Sports and tourism
Both countries have a lot in common in the field of sports. The inhabitants of both countries like to play sports, and we have many points of contact, especially in winter sports: alpine and Nordic skiing, hockey and others.
There are also great opportunities in the field of tourism. Norway with its beautiful fjords and winter idyll, and Slovenia with its green landscape and excellent gastronomy.
In addition to the primary business aspect, we will not neglect cooperation in the fields of sports, culture and education, which are very complementary to business challenges.
The focus of the SLONOR association is the organization and implementation of:
Business forums and meetings, Investment conferences, B2B business meetings, business networking, providing and sharing valuable business opportunities, knowledge transfer and promoting cooperation.
